What fun!
My son came along to "help" and it's a good thing because Puppy would NOT get into the tub, despite the cute ramp. He lifted her up and in. I couldn't have done that. She sat right down and let me scrub her and soap her and hose her and brush her... and my son took photos. (Okay, so I couldn't have done the blog without him either!)
I totally recommend the DIY dog spa experience - it was a joy to walk away from the mess! Clean dog with none of the cleaning up afterward!
What fun are you planning for the weekend?
Aww that's so cute! Hope you have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteThanks! Hope your weekend is great too!!!
DeleteOh, I wish we had one that nice around here! My dog would love it. As to my plans this weekend? Writing, writing and more writing, with a dash of boating thrown in for good measure. ;-)
ReplyDeleteBTW, I owe you a copy of The Tudor Revival. You won it at Barbara M's site. *grins*
Sky, just wait! Apparently, these DIY places are all the rage out west and are making inroads in New England ;-) Good stuff!
DeleteAnd yes, I had heard I won a copy of your latest book! *yes* am looking forward to reading it!!!!!
I wouldn't like to bathe a dog that size. Good job.
ReplyDeleteAnd would you believe there was a chihuahua in the tub next to ours? Very funny. Across the way were a Newfoundland and a Lhaso Apso (not sure if I spelled that right) It was a regular dog party ;-)
DeleteThat's pretty neat. I like the do-it-yourself without the clean up of course. Despite not wanting to get in to begin with, she looks like she enjoyed it.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure the deep scrubbing felt good ;-) She was definitely smiling!
DeleteEnjoy the rest of the weekend!
Around here there are a couple of options....a DIY 'go to' doggie washery but my sister in law has an even easier deal. She has a mobile guy come to the house. He has a big camper outfitted for doggie washes. In goes the dirty dog, out comes a clean, dry and fluffy show dog. Can't beat it!
ReplyDeleteHi, Vicki! There's a mobile wash here on the Cape, too - one of my neighbors uses him. BUT... he has a sliding price scale and where my Puppy is on the - shall we say - big-boned end of the spectrum, it's really pricey. The DIY is pay-one-price - can't beat $15 and no mess to clean ;-)
