About the Book:
After years of searching for her mother’s killer, Felicia “Lucky” Fascino is finally on the right track. With the help of her family, and on-again off-again boyfriend, Kenji Zinn, Lucky is getting closer to fulfilling the unspoken promise she made to her adoptive father.
As the group continues to dig deep into the assassin’s network, and search for the elusive Quimby, ties to the past come back full circle, endangering everyone Lucky loves and cares for. It’s only a matter of time before their secret is uncovered.
Assassins, convoluted schemes and emotional upheaval fill this book with conflict and action, taking the reader on a wild ride.
This is the third book in a trilogy that is so filled with twists, turns, and mysterious characters that if you haven't read the first two books, you will find yourself adrift. So before you pick this one up, read the first two books in the series.
Lucky is an assassin for a mysterious agency. Her adoptive father was also an assassin and one of the founding members of the agency, but when he was killed trying to get revenge his wife's murder, Lucky vowed to avenge both their deaths. There are lots of skeletons in the family closet, and her boyfriend is determined to figure out what's going on. Did I mention he's also an assassin? (Not to mention totally hot!)
The book alternates POVs, including the two main bad guys that Lucky is hunting. Unbeknownst to her, they are hunting her boyfriend. Like I said, twists and revelations will keep you turning pages well into the night. If you like thrillers, try this series by Jenn Nixon, but trust me. Start at the beginning because you won't want to miss a thing.
