C is for... CapeWomenOnline magazine
The new issue for Spring 2011 should be available any day now... but since I'm participating in this blogfest for the month, I'm not sure how I'm going to announce it here :-(
I guess I'll have to incorporate it into that letter of the day ;-)
I joined CapeWomenOnline magazine as the Editor starting with the Summer 2009 issue, when a new publisher took over the reigns. Since that first issue, we've evolved and grown into something that hopefully reaches out to readers and Connects. We strive to bring our Community Closer together, highlighting the Creative and Caring women who live and work on Cape Cod.
By editing other writers' works, my own writing has grown as well. We've had our fits and starts on the business side and in trying to hire an advertising director (don't even get me going on that one) but the stories, articles, and writing just keep getting stronger.
Have you Checked out the magazine? If any of you writers have Cape Cod Connections, feel free to Check out our submission guidelines and send me an email. We're always looking for new voices and stories!
P.S. (not C) Did anyone else read Austin James' B post, B standing for Big Brother? Thoughtful, troubling and a bit rabble rousing all at the same time... click here to go back to his B word. Or follow his blog for more of his insights. Do E-Books make it easier for the government to track what people are reading? Should librarians cooperate with the Patriot Act?
Another P.S. ORDINARY ANGELS is the new release from India Drummond, out today from Lyrical Press, and it sounds like a really great read! India is also an A to Z participant - check out her website and blog posts at http://www.indiadrummond.com/
